Singer and guitarist Lauren Thalia had “so much fun” as she took to the stage live in front of the nation.
It is hard to believe that the little lady from Hampshire is only 12 years old.
Lauren, who blew the judges away at her audition with a rip-roaring version of Soulja Boy’s Turn My Swag On, looked at ease on stage as she performedEarthquake by Labrinth ft. Tinie Tempah.
Armed with her guitar, the pint sized princess stood on a Perspex box for the acoustic routine.
Simon said: “What I love about you is that you’re singing a song you love, you’re fearless and very very cool.
“I also love that you’d rather be playing music and making money instead of doing your school work.”
The tween knows that her song choices aren’t what other girls her age are listening to.
She said: “My style of music is so different. I like to sing and perform songs that no one would expect to come out of a 12 year olds mouth!”
David Walliams loved the 12-year-old’s trendy Topshop leggings and called her a “star of tomorrow.”
Although Alesha said Lauren’s performance “wasn’t perfect” she praised the singer’s “organic talent, with Amanda calling her “brave.”
Ahead of the show, the singer seemed to have no nerves – just excitement.
Lauren said: “I’m really looking forward to the live semi-final shows and I’m more excited than nervous about performing again in front of the judges, the audience and the viewers watching at home - fingers crossed they’ll like me!
“None of the judges scare me because they’re honest, so I have to make sure I put on a really good performance.”
